Flora Ornamental 

Flora Ornamental is a segment of a more extensive series that explores found elements of the domestic space while incorporating the self. These fabric gardens used as the material a mother made dresses for her daughter now collect dust. Acting as an allegory for what is revealed and concealed from the past to present, fragments of skin – that of a young woman no longer a little girl– are exposed through the floral pattern.
