Urds Brønd: Gangagere

The exhibition draws inspiration from Nordic Mythology and Scandinavian folklore, interweaving elements of the ethereal and the earthly, blending the sacred with the natural world while forging the connection between the realm of art and that of ritual.

Upon entering this immersive experience, visitors are invited to traverse through a mesmerizing sea of blue tree bark textures and meticulously sewn bed sheets. This sensory journey serves as a gateway, transporting one into a reimagined forest or a portal that guides the passerby. The bed sheets serve as a homage to the ritual of sleep, transforming bedtime into a sacred passage delicately poised between the realms of wakefulness and slumber. It is within this liminal space one delves into the journey of the subconscious, unveiling dreams, stories, and alternate realities—perhaps forgotten, but never lost.
